What is Baghchal?
Baghchal (also written Bagh-Chal) is a traditional strategy board game from Nepal. The name means "moving tiger" in Nepali. One player controls four tigers and the other controls twenty goats, on a board of 5 × 5 points joined by lines.
It is easy to learn and hard to master: the tigers must hunt, and the goats must stay together and trap them.
Who moves first in Baghchal?
The goat player moves first, by placing a goat on the board.
How many goats must the tigers capture to win?
The tigers win when they have captured five goats.
